Outreach

Yesterday, I met a recovering meth addict. He shared a tale of staying in Humboldt County, living in a tent and soaking up the healthy energy of the town. I’m fascinated by his experience. He’s trying to get his life back together and is working on becoming the strongest man he can be, the most powerful version of himself.
I suggested he write.
You know how I feel about sharing thoughts in writing. I shared this back in April:
Consistently putting your thoughts down can teach a man (or woman) articulation of thought. This is certainly a critical communication tool in baseball, but more importantly, it empowers you in the chess match of life. It can also lead to a more powerful state of well-being.
This blog is a platform, not only for me and Steph (our know-it-all editor and my partner at KL), but for others as well. I offered this stage to my recovering meth addict (new) friend. I’m hoping he contacts me and writes so all of us can learn.
If you’re out there, brother, you have my number. Hit me up. Let’s do this together. For the sake of all of us.
Strong mind,
Kap
